A little late with this weeks meal planning but I went away for the weekend and managed to come back with some wonderful memories and norovirus!

I have decided to include an S for supper or snacks as well just to give an indication of everything I eat as I think it will be useful to many of you that have show and interest in fasting. You will notice that I pretty much snack on the same things but I like them and know the calorific value. Plus they are relatively high in fibre and calcium which are important if you are fasting.

Monday – Fasting Day

  • B – Tea
  • L –  2 eggs, 2 turkey rashers, 1/4 can beans, 2 slices Hovis and a slice of WW Cheese*
  • D – a pack of cheese curls, 2 Ryvita with Laughing Cow light blue and 6 grapes

*I needed something light and comforting for my first post virus meal and my lovely partner cooked it for me 🙂

Tuesday – Standard Dieting Day

  • B – Honey Nut Shredded Wheat with semi skimmed milk and an apple
  • L – Ham, cottage cheese Roasted Vegetable Couscous and a low fat yoghurt
  • D –  Roast chicken, actifry roasties, veg, gravy followed by fresh fruit salad and fat free Greek Yoghurt
  • S – a pack of cheese curls, 2 Ryvita with Laughing Cow light blue and 6 grapes (it has to be 6 so that they look like dominos… )

Wednesday – Fasting Day

  • B – coffee
  • L  Tomato and red pepper soup with turkey rasher “croutons”
  • D – Cod in Parma ham, cherry tomato sauce, corn on the cob and spinach
  • S – a pack of cheese curls, 2 Ryvita with Laughing Cow light blue and 6 grapes, 100ml semi skimmed milk

Thursday –  Standard Dieting Day

  • B – Coffee, Shredded Wheat with milk, fresh fruit salad
  • L – Roasted vegetable couscous, chicken tikka and leftover cherry tomato sauce
  • D – Pork loin steak, mustard mash, gravy and vegetables
  • S –  a pack of cheese curls, 2 Ryvita with Laughing Cow light blue and 6 grapes, 100ml semi skimmed milk

Friday –  Standard Dieting Day

  • B – Coffee,  2 x low fat sausage, tinned tomatoes, turkey rashers x 2
  • L –  ham salad sandwich with low fat salad cream and a bag of LF crisps
  • D – Steak, roasted new potatoes, Greek salad
  • S – cheese curls, 100ml semi skimmed milk, 6 oz gin with diet tonic

Saturday – – DAY OFF!

  • B – 2 x LF sausage, 2 slices of Hovis and ketchup
  • L –  TBC
  • D – Have promised to take the boys out for dinner
  • S – WINE!

Sunday – Standard Dieting Day

  • Brunch – Bacon,  LF sausage, tomatoes, egg, beans, HM hash browns, mushrooms
  • D – Minted lamb casserole, mash and some veg
  • S – a pack of cheese curls, 2 Ryvita with Laughing Cow light blue and 6 grapes, 100ml semi skimmed milk

So there you have it, barring Saturday a summary of everything I am planning to consume over the next week or so.  Not too many spicy recipes as I want to be easy on my stomach due to the recent viral infection.
